The leadership team for #NotInMyCity is committed to working with all partners to support, facilitate and advocate for the development and mobilization of a strategic, integrated plan to bring about transformational and sustainable change at the grassroots, practice, policy and legislative levels.

A Summary of our Four Strategic Directions

Supporting High Risk Youth: We’re working collaboratively with services, agencies and front-line providers to ensure our youth are protected and supported in a manner that is seamless, efficient and integrated. We’re putting in place expertise to make sure youth don’t fall through the cracks of the system.

Building Community Awareness & Action: We all need to speak the same language about sexual exploitation and sex trafficking. Whether it’s understanding the urgency of the issue or being trained on how to help support a victim, we are continuing to share our message and expanding our reach across the country.

Working in Partnership with First Nations: We are engaging with First Nations communities and leaders in a respectful and collaborative manner to find solutions, establish synergies and create a positive collective impact.

Advancing Leading Practice: We believe that working together with one shared purpose will help us advance our cause with government, business, community and public sector organizations. It starts with research and data to quantify and understand the scope of sexual exploitation and trafficking, as well as being a crusader to advance research and best practices.
